Case Study / Princeton Residence
Client: Private
Located in Princeton, NJ. with an emphasis on sustainability and an eye for comfort, modern details and technology blend seamlessly into this historic home. Sustainable materials such as reclaimed wood, woven wicker and textural ceramic elements lend to a relaxed, informal vibe while more refined materials such as soft velvets, warm brass and honed stone elevate the palette.
This was a collaborative, full-gut renovation. We worked alongside the homeowner to integrate cutting-edge technological and sustainable solutions to make the home as eco-friendly as possible. By integrating efficient systems within the home, this project qualifies as both a “Zero Energy Ready Home” and “Energy Star Home”. It is considered a zero net energy home for 100 years with a 20% reduction in water usage, and meets the HERS Rating, Indoor Air Plus, and Water Sense standards.
Pairing sustainability efforts with the goal of creating a comfortable and inspiring space for a growing family, we’re hopeful the family will love this home for decades to come. In addition to designing all of the spaces, DWS Co also provided all of the FF&E services for this project including: sourcing, ordering, logistics, storage, delivery, installation, and final staging.
